On a chilly morning at 8 am we boarded the Christmas Tree Train at the West Chester Railroad to go to Wiggins Tree Farm to cut down our Christmas Tree. Our friends Janette, Kurt, and Lorelei first booked the train and after hearing that they were doing it I thought it would be fun and a neat experience...which hopefully now will be a tradition.
Actually it wasn't too cold which was good. We boarded the train, found our seats, and Chris went and got us some hot chocolate and donuts from the food car. We took a 20 minute train ride to the tree farm and then set out to find our tree. We found one pretty quickly, actually Chris and Camden went one way and Alex and I went another....Alex found a great tree and Chris cut it down. Camden watched on as he did it. Then Chris went to help Kurt with his tree while the kids played. Finally, it got wrapped up and we hung out outside a bit more before getting back on the train for our ride home.
This was a super fun trip and I look forward to next year!!!
