I love watching her learn new things! At this age she is so excited about learning. She LOVES school and loves when we do learning activities at home. She asks to do them all of the time. Just yesterday she was saying - Mom, I want to write letters, Mom, let's do a craft. I love that she loves learning and hopes that it continues through school...because she has a long way to go!
She still continues to have a great sense of humor and will say things that have us rolling on the floor. I'm not sure a 3 year old should be sarcastic (in a funny way not a rude way) this young. I think she gets that from her dad! She is very sweet (most of the time) to her brother and they are cute playing together. She still wants to help out with him, makes sure he doesn't get into things that he shouldn't, and she is the master reporter when he does. Like when he decides to pull out all of the DVD's onto the floor she'll be sure to tell me. I've pulled Camden away from the entertainment center a million times and said "no" but of course I get that cute little stinker smile from Camden and he proceeds to empty it out. So after I am done writing this one of the things I am going to do is empty out all of our DVD's to another place. Problem solved.
She is developing some responsibility in completing "chores" each day. Now for her I've picked out things that she already enjoys doing and things that are suitable for her age such as helping to set the table, helping to empty the dishwasher (no glass/no knives!) and she will put her dishes where they belong. Funny how when she had to tell Chris one time where HER dishes go. She helps me recycle and pick up toys (most days) and she offers to do other things too. She even likes helping with the laundry. She gets mad if I don't let her fold the wash cloths!
This age is such a trying age. Some days she can be a stinker and not want to listen. Some days she'll just be whiny all day long. But then other days she is the sweetest, kind, and helpful little young lady you'll ever meet!
Her "perfect" boots - the other day when we were in Kohl's I got some boots and Alex said she needed to find the perfect boots. I've been wanting to get her some for a while now and well with end of season sales plus a 30 percent off coupon now was the best time.
She also likes wearing my boots
