Candyland Obsession

For Christmas this year Santa brought Alexandra Candyland...or Candylane as she calls it. The girls is OBSESSED with the game! As soon as she gets up she wants to play. When Camden naps she wants to play with me. When Chris comes home she wants to play with him. When visitors come she wants to play with them. And not just once. Over and over and over. So future visitors be warned - you will be playing Candyland for the better  part of an afternoon if you mention it.

I tell Alex I will play with her when Camden is sleeping (either at a nap or in bed) because he likes to crawl all over the board and eat the pieces. Sure we could play at the table but then he goes crawling off and stands somewhere and I need to be near him!

So guess what she has started doing - she'll play with "me" but she will play by herself. She'll announce each card she draws, who's turn it is, where she moves, and then if "I" won or not. So this is kind of nice because I can do things in the kitchen like unload the dishwasher or cook dinner and "play" at the same time. haha. I've lost track though at how many times she has beat me.
