Although this is Alexandra's second Easter this year was fun because she actually could enjoy what the Easter Bunny left in her basket. The bunny brought some cute outfits and some nice toys. For Easter dinner we went to Aunt Sharon's and Uncle Tom's house for a nice brunch. The food was delicious! We were all there to celebrate Alexandra's and Alyssa's Baptism. Alexandra didn't actually take a nap that morning so I wasn't sure how she might be but she ended up just being a doll like usual. She sure was ready to crash though by 4:00 and actually fell asleep on the couch. Mimi was not able to be with us so we Skyped with her on the computer. After the brunch and dessert the girls then had some Easter gifts and Baptism gifts to open. We also celebrated Chris's upcoming 30th birthday. It's hard to believe I have known him for 12 years.
After coming home in the evening we hung out here and went outside for the evening. The weather was beautiful and so Titi and Nona came up and we just all enjoyed the nice weather. We blew some of the bubbles that Alex got in her basket and we played ball. Alexandra then helped Papa in the yard with her wheelbarrow by collecting leaves and she fed the birds. We ate dinner outside then too. After dinner we had a little sing-a-long where Alex was the main star. It was too funny. I'm hoping to post a video of it - she cracks me up!
So it was a nice Easter and I look forward to many more!
