This summer in the libraries at the elementary schools in our district there are special story times and visit times so people from the public can come and check out or stay and read some books. Today I took Alex and Camden to the library at Hillendale Elementary,where Alex will go, and she picked out three books and Camden picked two. We sat on the bean bag chairs to read some and then we were able to bring them home to borrow until the beginning of school. We also were able to meet the librarian and I thought it would be a good thing for Alex as she is shy at first when meeting new adults. I'm pretty sure Alex is going to love Library Time at school. She loves having stories read to her and she loves to practice reading.
