She is still really into animals and knows so many facts about animals. When we go to the zoo she is the one telling us about the animals!
She still has a super imagination and plays "pretend" with her animals and toys. She is also now really into dressing up - good thing she got some dress up clothes for her birthday!
She is starting Preschool on September 13! She is very excited. She keeps talking about doing arts and crafts.
She started jumping really far (like long jumping)
She started calling me mom and mama all of a sudden instead of mommy like she used to. Hearing her say mom makes her sound older!
She can spell her whole first name now (well i'd say 7 times out of 10) because those other three times she says AlexEndra. My goal was to get her to spell her name by the time she goes to Preschool. I guess we'll just practcie, practice, practice!
She can almost count up to 20 - she around 14-16 she mixes numbers up but again, we'll work it into our day.
She has known most letters for a while but now she is also recognizing letter sounds.
She LOVES reading books! When we tuck her into bed each night she always wants to read more books. And when we are reading she says about 5 times "Mom, I love reading books!" We read some of those stage 1 books with the pictures and she does a great job with them.
I am sure there are a lot of other things that I am not thinking about but now it's neat watching her grow intellectually as she gets older.
