Well as everyone knows I've been counting down the days until this baby is born. This week seems to be dragging on. Alexandra is due in 2 days and we all wish she would just decide to come out! My mom is down here at my house to stay with me for a bit. She is splitting time between my house and my sister's apartment. We are both hoping that she will be able to be here when the baby is born. She is only off until the 18th and has found some people to work for her up until the 20th so if it all works out I will have this baby and then she will be here with us for a week after the baby is born. I would hate for her to be off and be down here and then I have the baby after she leaves. But hopefully that will not happen. Like they said last week at my doctor appointment, if she doesn't come by the 10th then a week after they will induce, which would be the 17th (hopefully sooner!) That would give her maybe like 2 days to be here with us afterwards.
But the good news is she will be retired as of August 1, so Chris and I can make it until then and then I am sure she will come back down to help out. We also have Chris's parents and sister close too so I am sure we won't be totally alone! Not that I don't think I can handle everything but I am sure that having a few people around just "checking in" would put my mind at ease.
I have another dr. appt this Thursday so hopefully by then I have made some progress. Until then.....I will keep trying to find things to do!
