Well we are in the homestretch now! I started my third trimester of this pregnancy so I only have 13 weeks left. When looking at it that way 13 weeks seems like a long time but I am sure December and January will fly by with holiday activities and our vacation to Disney coming up. February will most like drag on.....or maybe it will sneak up on me. I'm actually hoping February will go by a little slower (I may change my mind on this) only because I really didn't buy too much yet for our baby boy. I have bought some clothes here and there but I definitely don't have sizes ahead and a whole closet full of clothes like I did for Alexandra. The nursery is not ready yet.....or even started. By this time last pregnancy ours was done! January and February are going to be my "all about baby" months - other months I have been buying things for different occasions but not for the baby. Good thing I have all of the major things to survive. Each grocery trip from this point on will include a pack of newborn diapers/size 1's so that I have those in stock.
As far as how I am feeling I am feeling pretty good. My only complaint at this point is my tail bone and hips hurting more. Alex and I play on the floor a lot and a hard floor is not good for my back! It only gets really bad when I am on my feet all day. My overall energy level is good though. So far (knock on wood) I haven't had swollen feet - whereas I did before from being on my feet all day teaching. I can still wear my rings on my fingers and my weight all seems to be going to my big belly! I am right on track for weight gain which is great. Baby boy has found a nice spot to rest though - and a not so nice spot for me - my ribs! Alexandra never did this! I can usually push him and make him wiggle out but wow - when he is near the ribs I can definitely tell. And he is a mover! He seems to "sleep" when I do too. Most of the day I feel kicks, rolls, body parts moving around and others can see him from the outside.
Our baby boy will be here before we know it - and I can't wait to see him and introduce him to everyone!
