Preparing for a Storm.....

So Camden and Alex may have another "first" this week - a tropical storm or Hurricane. Hurricane Irene is set to hit NC tonight and then we are supposed to start getting some rain here in PA starting tomorrow with a lot of the heaviest rain/wind around midnight Saturday. Right now, as of Friday evening, we are listed as a tropical storm but who knows. We are still going to do preparations in case of a power outage like getting water, non perishable food, gas tanks filled, flashlights ready, etc. but at least we don't have to evacuate our house like others in Wilmington, other DE and NJ residents. We are supposed to get 5"-10" of rain and 50-70 MPH gusts of wind.

I wanted to post "pre-storm" and then I can post after the storm to see if what was predicted is what panned out. Hoping that all evacuating find safety!

Here we have our supplies ready to go (we have lots more water than that case - we have gallons in the fridge and pantry)

And meet our newest household member: Charlie, our charbroil grill! I've been begging Chris to get a grill since we've been married. Only took 6 years and a hurricane warning to get one! We got this just in case we need to cook for a few days.
